Japanese stone lantern"Kasuga", made of cast stone and antique black-brown patinated. The black-brown color looks very noble in the garden!
In Japanese gardens, stone lanterns are often used as decorative elements to create a calm and meditative atmosphere. They can be placed along paths to provide light and brighten the garden after dark. Stone lanterns are also a symbol of prosperity, peace and happiness in Japanese culture.
The opening in the middle part is 4.5 cm. Lighting with a small LED tea light is possible. A normal tea light is not recommended because the lantern is patinated, meaning the color can come off.
Production and material:
The stone lanterns go through a high-quality and special process of manual production in Indonesia. Fine sand and cement are mixed together; This is the only part of the production for which machines are used. The modeling, working out of the ornaments, patinating and sealing is done by hand.
The stone lantern is frost-proof.
This lantern consists of 4 parts which fits firm on top of each other due to cut-outs and pins in the material.
