Rustic stone trough / plant trough made of lava stone - a gem for every garden

Measurements inside about: 68 x 18 x 18 cm (LxWxH)

These stone troughs are made of green lava stone (basanite) by stonemasons on Java. The outer sides are embossed, i.e. relatively roughly picked. This gives the troughs a slightly more rustic appearance.

If the trough is used as an outdoor planter, a drainage hole must be drilled in the base to ensure frost resistance. In addition, a drainage layer should be installed so that excess water can drain off easily. It is good if the trough stands on feet and free water drainage is guaranteed at the bottom.

If the stone trough is used as a water trough, the stone must first be hydrophobic (impregnated against water penetration). On request, we can provide you with an impregnation free of charge. All you have to do is to paint the trough. To avoid frost damage, there must be no water in the trough during the frost period.

Furthermore, these items sometimes have minor chips from production, mainly in the base area. Unfortunately, this cannot be avoided. In short, the pieces are beautiful, but not perfect. You should be aware of this. We would also be happy to send photos of the respective item in advance.
IMPORTANT:	This item is handcrafted in a traditional way. As a result, small deviations in colour, weight and size can occur. The photos are sample photos.
