Exclusive stone trough / plant container made of lava stone - a real work of art for your garden!

This stone trough / planter is made of lava stone (basanite) on Java. The stonemasons apply to all four sides an elaborate ornament. This makes the stone trough / planter look very elegant and fits in with a wide variety of garden design styles, from mediterranean to classic to asian.
If the stone trough /plant container is used as an outdoor planter, a drainage hole must be drilled in the base to ensure frost resistance. In addition, a drainage layer should be installed so that excess water can drain off easily. It is good if the planter stands on feet and free water drainage is guaranteed at the bottom.
If the stone trough is used as a water trough, the stone must first be hydrophobic (impregnated against water penetration). On request, we can provide you with an impregnation free of charge. All you have to do is to paint the trough. To avoid frost damage, there must be no water in the trough during the frost period.
