Decorative round stone trough, plant pot, with elaborate carving - a natural element for your garden!

Traditionally handcrafted from lava stone (basanite) by stonemasons in Java. The ornaments on the upper edge and the flowers were elaborately worked out by the stonemasons. The shape is slightly conical.
If the trough is used as an outdoor planter, a drainage hole must be drilled in the base to ensure frost resistance. In addition, a drainage layer should be installed so that excess water can drain off easily. It is good if the planter stands on feet and free water drainage is guaranteed at the bottom.
If the stone trough is used as a water trough, the stone must first be hydrophobic (impregnated against water penetration). On request, we can provide you with an impregnation free of charge. All you have to do is to paint the trough. To avoid frost damage, there must be no water in the trough during the frost period.
